Dublin concentrates evenings. That helps if you want a hotel bar where nobody knows your cousin. It hurts if you treat the rest of the country as a commute. Cork is not a suburb. Galway is not a night out you squeeze in after work from the capital unless you have already planned the last bus. Limerick has its own adult rooms and does not need to be described as handy to the airport. Write the city you will stand in. Write whether you will travel. "Up and down to Dublin a lot" is not a date.
